The BAYS Series Mechanical Overload Sensors are engineered to provide maximum safety for overhead traveling cranes, gantry cranes, and electric wire rope hoists. Designed by Beta Vinc engineers, these load limiters prevent lifting operations when the load exceeds the rated capacity, protecting both the operator and the equipment from potential accidents and structural damage.

Installation & Selection Guide

 

The BAYS Overload Sensor is designed for the fixed anchor point of the wire rope. It does not require any structural modification to the crane.

How to Select the Right Model? To ensure the correct calibration and model selection, please consider the following parameters before ordering:

Is this sensor compatible with all crane brands? Yes, the BAYS Series is a universal device compatible with almost all brands of wire rope hoists (Konecranes, Demag, SWF, and local brands), provided they use a steel wire rope system.

Do I need an external power supply? The sensor itself acts as a switch. It is integrated into the crane's control circuit (low voltage) to cut off the "Up" contactor when triggered.
